This award, usually announced in the Post Game Show, is
underwritten by Mike Brooks and Frito Lay. It goes to the team in our
broadcast area who deserves recognition for numerous reasons: good sportsmaship,
fair play, and excellence in the classroom and on the field. The team
honored each week is selected from a seasonal history and not necessarily
from the prior week's efforts. The Wal Mart - Frito Lay Team of the Year will be announced from the pool of weekly honorees.
