The Hummer of the Week, announced during the Postgame Pressbox Show, is underwritten by Gary Ivey and Crest Cadillac Hummer, and goes to the one player during the game who would not allow anything or any player to keep him from making the block, the tackle, the touchdown, needed for him to succeed. He may have had to go over, around or through the impediment like a Hummer to reach his destination. This award may go to a defensive player or offensive player. Each honoree will be invited and recognized at our annual awards banquet where a Crest Cadillac Hummer of the Year will be announced from the pool of weekly honorees.
